Bea is an illustrator specialising in bright and unique cartoonish designs. She creates the majority of her drawings digitally, with experience in drawing for both digital and print formats, and also with hand-painted murals and sketches. She has worked with several clients, including the Small Axe Short Film Festival, Whitemead Forest Park, and West Mercia Police.
For her work with West Mercia Police, Bea has been awarded a bursary from Ombersley Conservation Trust. She has two years of experience working for the University of Worcester’s Sustainability Department creating photography, video and illustrations. Through several personal projects, Bea creates fictional fantasy characters with bright colours and comical personalities designed to make people smile. Bea believes that her best character designs come from letting her mind run free, finding that the weirder the characters the better. She operates with the ethos that no job is worth doing if not done with one-hundred-percent effort, and believes that her quirky style and personality keeps her illustrations alive.
